Lumber Generally in the United States and Canada, the product of timber cut into boards is referred to as lumber. Individual pieces of lumber exhibit a wide range in quality and appearance with respect to knots, slope of grain, shakes and other natural characteristics. Therefore, they vary considerably in strength, utility and value. Dimensional lumber is a term used for lumber that is finished/planed and cut to standardized width and depth specified in inches. Examples of common sizes are 2 4. The contract specification in the lumber futures traded in CME is 2-inch by 4-inchlumber, 8-20 feet long with 110,000 board feet.

They are beef and some dairy cattle that are a few months to a number of years old that are not needed or used in the herd's breeding stock. Basically these "culls" are separated from the main breeding herd, whether they are young calves or big cows or bulls, and fed separately to be fattened for the meat shop. Most feeder cattle are steers that are between 6 and 24 months of age that are fed a forage/grain diet until they are ready to be slaughtered.

Live Cattle Live Cattle refers to cattle or cow that are raised as livestock for meat(beef and meal). Cattle today are the basis of a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide. The international trade in beef in 2000 was over billion and represented only 23 percent of world beef production. The production of milk which is made into cheese, butter, yogurt, and other dairy products, is comparable in economic size to beef production and provides an important part of the food supply for many of the world\'s people. Cattle hides, used for leather to make shoes, couches and clothing, are another widespread product. Cattle remain broadly used as draft animals in many developing countries, such as India.
